How does one write their own description? 

 

Well let's see. 

 

I am very passionate about music, but unfortunately I am tone-deaf. Goats and sheep make better bleating noise than I do when I sing. So, no, I can not sing or hum. Both of them, out of tune. 

I dance when no one sees me. I resemble the Dancing Tube Man. 

 

You must thinking what am I good at?

 

Writing. 

At least, I think so. But according to some, I am not bad. 

Fiction, fantasy, romance, thriller, comedy, slice of life, or non-fiction, etc, I love them all. 

 

Which of these I love the most? 

 

Fantasy. Paranormal. Romance. All of the three. 

Something about living in a magical world with maybe dragons, or elves, or wizards, or any numinous creature, is very appealing to me. 

 I was in 1st grade, when I watched the Harry Potter movie. My sisters were huge fans of the books. 

So lost in the land of Hogwarts and the possibility of a 9/3 quarters in Kings Cross Station, that often I would imagine myself there. 

But when I started reading Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle, L.J. Smith's Night World Series and Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, I found my calling. 

Mythologies always fascinated me. Greek, Roman, Norse, and even Egyptian, their stories, their pantheons were so vast and so intriguing. 

There were tons of books based on these mythologies that I wondered why aren't there many on Celtic Mythology. 

Thus, I started my adventure in the depths of the Celtic pantheon. 

 

What else I like? 

 

Rock Music. The best thing ever. 

From Metallica to Dream Theatre, from Green Day to twenty one pilots. 

But this doesn't mean I don't like other genres. It depends on my mood. 

 

P.S. This list includes Bollywood and K-Pop.

 

I love sports too. I used to play basketball as a kid. But my mother thought I should quit. For obvious reasons, my knees were like jelly. I had way too many injuries. So, now, I stick to watching games than playing. I am huge fan of Liverpool Football Club, Novak Djokovic and Chicago Bulls. I love watching football, tennis and cricket.

Some people don't understand my craze for comic books and how accurate movies based on them should be. From comics books to animated series and movies to Live-Action movies and series. I watch them all.

Which of the universe I like? 

That's tough. I like them both. But I think I have more affinity towards DC universe than Marvel. But X-Men is my favorite team. What's not to like about X-Men. Strong characters, mutants, powers. 

 

What do I do when I am not writing? 

 

Designing. Art. Watching Sports. Books. Cooking. Cleaning. 

 

In my senior year of high school, one of my English Dept. teachers once said that if I try, I can be an author. And a good one too. 

And I have.

The Numinous Personage is very close to my heart. Not only because it's my first book, but also it's a book that I had left idle for 7 years. I didn't have the courage to complete it. 

But when life got tough, writing was my way out. And immersing myself in the story helped me a lot.
